The Kazuba public toilets have been installed on a playground in the town of Crissier in the canton of Vaud. These revolutionary toilets, which operate without water or electricity but only thanks to the wind and the sun, initially aroused some reluctance in the municipality, both because users are used to using water and fear of bad smells.
Thanks to its ecological characteristics, the presence of a disinfectant dispenser, the absence of unpleasant odors, its low maintenance and its welcoming wooden cabin with a modern design, the municipality decided to experiment with this solution, said city councilor Nathalie Jaton and road service chief Jean-Claude Streuli.

Other Kazuba toilets will soon be installed in the municipalities of the canton of Vaud, in addition to those already present in Switzerland.
